Extra Credit Assignment #2

Extra Credit, Due January 5.  Current Events - 30 points per article.  3 article limit!

Select a news article of international significance that presents a story, issue, or event that takes place in a country in AFRICA or the MIDDLE EAST.   The article should come from a reputable, national print newspaper (although you can access the story online).  The story must contain enough detail so that you can understand the story and identify the 5W's.

For each article you must complete a news analysis worksheet and write a 1 paragraph summary in which you explain the significance of the story.  Click HERE for a copy of the news analysis worksheet.
