acceptable grade for the task, your alternative assignment is to write a 1-2
page essay based on the reading and debate.
In your brief essay, summarize
each of the three options. Select the
option you most agree with and explain why you believe it is the right course
for South Africa. Consider the impact of
what has already taken place (prior to 1961), your future vision for South
Africa and how you think the Apartheid government will respond. Defend your position using facts and excerpts
from the text.
